DAISY CHAIN is connecting powered speakers together over great distances. Long time collaborators, KazMega (Edmonton) and Sabo Forte (Calgary) spent five days in the Summer of 2019 with the challenge of making an album from scratch. No pre-written words, no previously used samples, no searching databases for loops… all the music was to be created together, all the lyrics to be written on the spot to the new music just created, all the sequencing to be decided while recording on the spot. Challenge complete. The resulting recordings are a ten track album tilted “5 Days” by newly created hip-hop duo, DAISY CHAIN (KazMega & Sabo Forte). Off the floor and off the dome! Hooks and spaced out melodies with song topics ranging from personal identity, quantum physics, back alley block parties, to the romantic dating escapades of a swamp thing. “5 Days” is available now on most artist-led streaming platforms.
